Kaiyod Kai – Let’s Join Hands

Under the leadership of Melattur Grama Panchayat, the “Kaiyod Kai” Cleanliness Day Celebration was held at Melattur Bus Stand on 1 October 2026. The programme aimed to promote awareness about cleanliness, maintain public places free from waste, and ensure active public participation.
Elected representatives, Panchayat staff, Haritha Karma Sena members, NSS and SPC students, and the general public actively participated in the programme. The students made a significant contribution to cleaning the bus stand and its surroundings and spreading the message of cleanliness among the public.
Highlighting the message that waste management is everyone’s responsibility, the programme concluded with a call to join hands for a clean and healthy Melattur.
